Travel Advisory:
Philip is a character I promise you’ll want to slap.  Be sure to pack alternative books for solace. I read this heffer in just a few days.  The book was thrown multiple times.

But in the end, Philip just needs a hug.  And a slap.

It really seems like a shorter version of Proust’s Masterpiece.  It’s one book that covers a complete lifetime.  You begin with Philip’s birth and it ends with him well into adulting.

Cuisine & Delicacies
Ranked as: Lasagna or Hearty Casserole
So good, you’ll be up all night sampling it!  It’ll suck you in and make you over-read.  But, like any good casserole, you’ll need to stop  and feel an urge to restrain yourself.  Because the lead character will make you angry and seek out other books for console.  One can’t live on lasagna alone!
